What gave me the idea?

I'm getting tons of questions (mostly from my contemplative and concerned parents...LOL) about the "trashed by Dan" experience. I'll put together an interview of myself (in tribute to the way Scott Kelby would do it), but for now...let me just share with you the video news piece that helped my wife and I come up with the idea of "trashed by Dan."

Back in August, the following CNN.com video news story appeared and truly demonstrated that dress trashing had gone from the sublime to the just plain ridiculous...and it was after watching this bride standing in a trash can and also accidentally on purpose getting condiments on her dress (corn dog anyone?) that our concept was developed...
